ProjectThree :: 26/03/03 :: 8:00pm :: Mini Cooper- transforms THREE mini coopers into replicas of the ones used in the film The Italian Job. They are painted red, white and blue, complete with rollcages and authentic headlamps and 10 inch wheels. One lucky person will win all three! - heads to Turin with the film's biographer Matthew Field to revisit the locations used for the filming of the Italian Job including the famous rooftop test track of the Fiat factory. Amanda learns how to do stunts with mini stunt specialist Russell Swift (she does a mean handbrake turn!) Legendary rally driver Paddy Hopkirk is reunited with the Mini Cooper he drove to victory in the Monte Carlo Rally 1965 We also talk to Mike Cooper (son of the Mini Cooper's inventor John Cooper) about the mini phenomenon.
